Job description
The Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations of client companies, ensuring compliance with Cypriot and international financial regulations. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple client portfolios simultaneously.
Key responsibilities include preparing and reviewing financial statements, managing bookkeeping processes, monitoring tax obligations, and ensuring timely filings with authorities. Senior Accountants also provide clients with insights on financial performance and support them in making informed business decisions.
In addition to hands-on accounting work, the Senior Accountant supervises and mentors junior team members, reviewing their work and providing guidance to maintain accuracy and efficiency. The role involves regular client communication and close collaboration with consultants and advisors to deliver integrated business solutions.
Experience & Qualifications
- At least 7 years of working experience with complex tax structures
- Deep understanding of tax and accounting principles
- Ability to work without supervision
